Chanukah Sameach

We are having a lovely Chanukah so far. I love the holidays, spending time together, stepping outside the mundane, day to day goings on of life.

One thing I love about Chanukah is lighting the chanukiot. There is nothing more captivating, and fun, especially for children, than lighting candles. And with everyone in our family of six lighting, we have lots of candles! Monday night out oldest daughter will come over, along with my mother’s family, we will have a joyous celebration.

Coming soon, latkes, sufganiot, dreidels and gelt!

P.S.  The small blue and silver tree this year is for our daughter AN’, who is not Jewish. I thought it was a nice way to meld our holidays.
